I Walk Without Echo: An Exhibit of the Kay Sage Collection
The Kay Sage Collection was gifted to the Mattatuck Museum in 1964-65. This collection of one of America's premier surrealist artists includes both paintings and items from Sage's personal life that reveal her life story, the development of her art, her influences and her friends. Guest curator Raechel Guest drew from the collection to present early realist paintings, surrealist paintings, drawings, collages, collages, and books of poetry.
