Over the past ten years, Joy Brown has incorporated the organic pod form into her art. The pods first appeared in a series of bas-relief murals but moved off the wall and onto the ground a few years ago. Twenty one of these large-scale ceramic sculptures in ochre and brown took root in this installation.
