Bombshells, Bond Rallies & Blackouts: Waterbury in World War II

Organized by guest curator Raechel Guest, this project utilized the Museum's collections of historical artifacts, film, photography, and oral histories, to explore how the war transformed the community between the years of 1940 and 1950. The Waterbury ways of domestic life, working activities, friendly and intimate relationships was forever changed by the war. This exhibition examined those changes and adjustments.
