November 3 @ 11:00 AM

NOVEMBER MEMBER PERK
Join us this November for a member trip to the Florence Griswold Museum in Old Lyme, where we’ll take in Patchwork: Connecticut Artists Consider 250, a special exhibition marking the state’s role in American art history. As fellow NARM institutions, FloGris and The MATT share a real kinship, and this trip is a chance to see how another Connecticut museum is telling its own story. We’ll travel together, tour the exhibition, and have time to explore the museum’s historic grounds and gardens.
There is a price associated with the trip – $16 per person.
Taking Place November 3rd at 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

Member Perk: Meet the Mongers Part II
Monday, December 14, 2:00 to 4:00 PM
Step beyond the gallery and back into the neighborhood with a members-only outing to New Curds on the Block and To the Gills, the cheese shop and fish market run by Kate Truini-Redin and Zachary Redin in Oakville. After the success of our spring visit inspired by The Art of Feeding Community, we’re returning for an evening built around the craft itself: a conversation with both owners followed by a guided cheese tasting.
Members will hear Kate and Zachary talk about their approach to sourcing, aging, and pairing, from carefully aged Northeast cheeses to the sustainable seafood that built their reputation in Oakville. It’s a chance to slow down, taste something exceptional, and hear directly from the people behind the counter about what makes their work meaningful.
Space is limited for this intimate, behind-the-scenes evening, so be sure to reserve your spot early.
