Why are you hiking?

As a Blue Star family, we are grateful to have a cultural institution like the Mattatuck in our backyard.

Connection to the Mattatuck:
Tanya is the Marketing and Media Coordinator at the Museum.
Joseph is her spouse and enjoys hiking.
Liberty enjoys participating in kids art workshops, intermediate art workshops, and helping mom take photos of events.
Jonah enjoys going on adventures with mom to work and is lovingly called the “marketing intern.” He has spearheaded the Museum-Mini’s program since arriving on staff. His favorite part about the museum is Sweet Bellas snacks. His first MattaTrek was in 2024 in mom’s belly. In 2025, he hiked with mom in the carrier. This year, he’s hoping to do walk at least some of the 5K.
