Step beyond the gallery and into the neighborhood with a special members-only outing inspired by The Art of Feeding Community, featuring portraits by Wende Caporale-Greene that celebrate the people who nourish us every day. This unique experience invites members to visit the real-life setting behind the artwork and meet the individuals who inspired it.

Tucked inside a bright, lofted space in Oakville, To the Gills fish market and New Curds on the Block cheese shop are run by Zachary Redin and Kate Truini-Redin, the dedicated fishmonger and cheesemonger represented in Caporale-Greene’s work. What began as neighboring counters has grown into a shared life and a shared mission rooted in sustainability, transparency, and peak flavor, from responsibly farmed seafood to carefully aged Northeast cheeses.

During this intimate, behind-the-scenes visit, members will meet the couple in their own shop, hear their story firsthand, and experience the craft and care that inspired the portraits. It’s a rare opportunity to see how art reflects community, support local makers, and savor the tastes and stories that bring it all together.
