This lecture series offers the opportunity for good food and a guaranteed conversation about local or art history.
A woman born in 1850 who lived for 80 years would have seen fashion change dramatically in her lifetime. This program will show you how women’s clothing transitioned from the iron reign of the hoopskirt to the relative freedom of the flapper dress. Presented by the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History.
Bring your own lunch.
Support for this program is provided by Christine and Eugene Shugrue.
