We have decided to postpone today’s exhibition opening to next Saturday. This decision was made with the safety of our visitors, artists, and staff in mind, and we do not want to encourage travel during the storm.

This exhibition features a wide range of objects drawn entirely from the Museum’s collection, each selected by a staff member and accompanied by their individual commentary. Including an array of paintings, prints, historical objects, and more, Staff Favorites from the Mattatuck Collection brings old and new favorites out of storage. The descriptions written by staff members bring fresh perspectives to these objects and offer insight into each person’s unique interests and opinions.
