MIXMASTER is an exhibition that seeks to discover and recognize the talents of artists working in New England and the Tri-State region. Initiated to support and recognize contemporary art, MIXMASTER provides an opportunity for established and emerging artists to debut their most recent work, done in the last three years. The Mattatuck looks forward to highlighting the work of its artist members.
Works will be judged by Leslie Garrett, Director at Nohra Haime Gallery in NYC.

JUROR: Leslie Garrett has been Director at Nohra Haime Gallery since 2008 after serving 8 years as Curatorial Assistant at Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock, AR. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and attended Memphis College of Art as a sculpture major. Nohra Haime Gallery opened its doors in New York in 1981. For over thirty years, the Gallery has showcased new voices and innovative art, and organized major solo exhibitions within the United States and abroad. It has collaborated with museums and institutions and advised private collections worldwide. The Gallery actively participates in art fairs and publishes numerous exhibition catalogs and art books. In 2011, Nohra Haime opened the NH Galería in Cartagena, Colombia.
