Ruminations: Rauschenberg at 100
Munger Gallery
Robert Rauschenberg (1925-2008) was one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century. His genre-defying works redefined artistic conventions and contributed to nearly every postwar art movement. In honor of his 100th birthday, the Mattatuck Museum joins an international cohort of institutions celebrating Rauschenberg’s art and impact. Ruminations: Rauschenberg at 100 showcases a rare complete set of the artist’s most introspective series that examines important people who shaped his life and career.
