ACCESS Programs for Youth

ImageBar-ACCESS

Elementary, middle and high school-aged children with a variety of developmental, emotional and physical challenges are invited to visit the Museum and participate in guided tours of the collection and special exhibitions. Using carefully selected works of sculpture, children with sight-impairments wear thin vinyl gloves and are led in both “Touch Tours” and “Descriptive Tours” by a specially-trained museum guide. This program is provided thanks to funding from Savings Bank of Danbury Foundation.
