THEATER @The Matt: A NIGHT AT JACQUES
October 13 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm$47.5
A Night at Jacques (that’s “Jake’s”) is a musical review of the 1920s
that takes place on New Year’s Eve 1929 at Jacques Theatre in
Waterbury. Jacques was an opera house and vaudeville theatre on
Phoenix Avenue in Waterbury from the late 19th century to the 1940s.
This show provides a look back at the decade from the end of World
War I to the start of the Great Depression. A Night at Jacques will
have a bit of history, a lot of music, a smattering of humor, a hint of
romance and a few surprises.
Cast: Tom Chute, Rosalie Veneziano, David Macharelli, Carletha Hawley,
and the Museum’s own Bob Burns with special guest appearances.
Sponsored in part by MacDermid Performance Solutions.
