Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases, we will be moving the “Share Your Story” LGBTQIA+ Storytelling Workshop to Zoom!
“Share Your Story” LGBTQIA+ Storytelling Workshop is an opportunity for members of the LGBTQIA+ community to get together with likeminded individuals to create, workshop, and share stories relating to their experiences, from light-hearted anecdotes to heart-rending accounts. Learning from other’s perspectives helps us reflect on our own.
Participants can attend either workshop on January 15th and 29th. Here they will learn about the elements of a good story, write their piece, and engage in creative dialogue with others in a safe and inclusive environment to ultimately create a story that they will share with an audience at the “My LGBTQIA+ Story” event on Thursday, February 17th.
Can’t attend a workshop, but want to tell your story? Submit a video up to 5 minutes long to elise@mattmuseum.org by 2/14 to be included in the event!
