MIXMASTER JURIED MEMBERS’ EXHIBITION
Come see the work of the Mattatuck Museum’s artist members! This exhibition showcases the winners of our 8th annual juried competition. Works were selected by juror Elizabeth Thompson, Director of Anita Rogers Gallery in NYC. Staff members at the Mattatuck Museum select and comment on their favorite pieces of art and history from the Museum Collection.
WATERBURY’S SOAPBOX DERBY
Relive the excitement of the Soap Box Derby, an annual race between cars made by local boys that was once held on the streets of Waterbury. This installation features pamphlets, photographs, and even a derby car that have been preserved by Waterbury residents and lent to the Mattatuck Museum.
