Join us for a unique night of listening to personal stories from members of the LGBTQIA+ community, from light-hearted anecdotes about first loves to sobering accounts of prejudice. While the LGBTQIA+ community hardships, there is also a lot of light, laughter and beauty in the identity, and this event seeks to celebrate those aspects in addition to the adversity dealt with. Storytellers from around Connecticut worked hard to develop their pieces together in the “Share Your Story” LGBTQIA+ Storytelling Workshop. Light bites included, drinks available for purchase.
