Event Navigation

Join mindfulness meditation teacher Ranji Latchmansingh for this class on your lunch break. During Friday’s Appreciating Art Using a Mindfulness Practice class Ranji offers guidance to participants on developing a Focused attention mindfulness practice. This practice will allow participants to look at art with a calm and focused, allowing them to see what is visually present and not what they would like it to be.

Each session Ranji will lead participants in an experiential Focused Attention guided meditation, look at a piece of art and with closed eyes describe as best as possible what was seen. Participants often develop a keen sense of awareness when visually observing an object.

Check out part one of this series on Mondays: Foundations of Mindfulness.
