Price: $10 Person

Ruth Muskrat Bronson and Indigenous Issues and Policies of the Early 20th Century. Hear from Irene Norman of The Institute for American Indian Studies, on Ruth Muskrat Bronson, an Indigenous woman buried in Waterbury’s own Riverside Cemetery as well as the broader Native American issues and policy during the early 20th century. Learn about Ruth’s life and legacy was dedicated to the equal treatment and opportunities for Indigenous peoples.

Bring your own lunch or order ahead from La Famiglia Tedesco: Jeff’s Kitchen at Rose Hill (menu below). All boxed lunch meals are $14 and can be picked up and paid for at the beginning of the lecture. Please call Abigail Sites, Education Programs Manager at 203-753-0381 x117 to place your order. Orders must be placed by 5 PM on Tuesday, October 31st to ensure accurate ordering.
