We as a society often turn to art to alleviate stress. People enjoy practicing physical exercise such as yoga to relax, but how many times have you been having a bad day, and picked up a book, paintbrush, or remote control to uplift your mood? Come to this yoga class on Saturday mornings that combines physical exercise and art to shake off the week! With Lisa Davis, a certified yoga teacher, practice poses that help your body to release tension, calm your nervous system, and restore an overall sense of balance to your body, mind, and soul. Afterwards, engage in a guided mindfulness meditation practice with the art. Pose modifications will always be shared so that everyone, regardless of fitness level, will feel safe and comfortable participating in the class.
